That's a very good mix of articles, Raj. I am looking forward to more. I read the one on stand-up comics in India and the hostile reactions that they can encounter from crossing the gossamer-thin line into religious sensitivities. Sad. In contrast, whenever I watch political and current event satires on UK TV, I am stunned by the utter lack of limits as long as it is done in the spirit of parody. George Carlin's famous "7 words they won't let you say on TV" seems prim and decorous in comparison.
Thanks Arjun! I am glad you enjoyed the write up about Stand-ups. I actually conducted a few interviews to and its on my YouTube/Instagram https://instagram.com/rajofftherecord. You are absolutely right about the extent to which people take liberties on TV in the name of comedy. It is a strange world we live in.
good intro idea as well, thanks!
Nice read.... I too had a crying baby episode once on a long haul flight.
